“Excuse me, but did you just say gyroscope?”
“Yes” she said, “I am at the heart of the device.”
I paused a moment before I responded…
“Wait, I thought a gyroscope was a stabilizing device?”
But she insisted-
“First of all I burn fuel like crazy,
Which by the way is begging to be used,
And not only do I solve problems, but I end them.”
Such ambition (I thought), but I didn’t let on.
“Yes, I admit that you are beautiful, but you have a concrete core.”
“I am simple, yet efficient, I can see where the lines intersect
and then I go deeper.”
I then tried to explain to her,
“Life is not just a simple factory; It is more like an open ocean.”
“The answer” she said “is survival, I must reduce my drag-
and that is what I will do until I am shot down”…
Who or what is she?
A uranium Bomb, or a compass, or a concrete submarine or boat..
